The Charlotte Hornets take on the Chicago Bulls at home tonight. It is the third of four straight home games for the Hornets, and they will hope to avoid losing to Chicago (who enters with the league's worst record) for the second straight game.
But doing so will be tough. The Hornets lost both Cody Zeller and Frank Kaminsky to injuries on Wednesday, leaving them short-handed. Still, they should win, but I feel like I've said that a lot this season.
The game is on Fox Sports Southeast and NBA League Pass. Here are the projected starters:
Hornets | Position | Bulls |
Kemba Walker | PG | Kris Dunn |
Nicolas Batum | SG | Justin Holiday |
Michael Kidd-Gilchrist | SF | Denzel Valentine |
Marvin Williams | PF | Lauri Markkanen |
Dwight Howard | C | Robin Lopez |
Aside from Zeller and Kaminsky the Hornets are healthy. Point guard Julyan Stone won't be with the team having been sent down to the Greensboro Swarm. However, two-way player Mangok Mathiang was called up, and is available if needed. Tip off is just after 7:00 p.m.
