The Charlotte Hornets (24-29) are at home tonight taking on yet another west coast power in the Los Angeles Clippers (32-21) because sometimes life just gets that much harder. The Hornets have lost eight of their last nine due to a flurry of different reasons, and their schedule has not given them much of a chance to pull out of it. Luckily for Charlotte, the Clippers are fairly injured themselves giving Charlotte a chance.
Here's what you need to know to tune in:
What: Hornets vs Clippers
When: Feb. 11, 2017 at 5 p.m.
Where: Spectrum Center, Charlotte, NC
TV: Fox Sports Southeast, NBA League Pass
Radio: WFNZ 610 AM, WFNZ 102.5 FM
This is a bit of a weird one, because it tips off at 5:00 p.m. making it not a matinee game, but also not the usual evening tip. It's in some kind of weird hybrid state.
Cody Zeller returned for one game, but it looks like he's out with injury again. Hopefully the Hornets are just being cautious and this isn't a sign of things to come.
Here are tonight's projected starters:
Hornets | Position | Clippers |
Kemba Walker | PG | Austin Rivers |
Nicolas Batum | SG | J.J. Redick |
Michael Kidd-Gilchrist | SF | Luc Mbah a Moute |
Marvin Williams | PF | Blake Griffin |
Frank Kaminsky | C | DeAndre Jordan |
