Welp.
Nicolas Batum is receiving a CT scan on his brain for severe migraines, according to ESPN’s Chris Haynes. He’s also been ruled out for tonight’s game between the Charlotte Hornets and Indiana Pacers.
Batum has averaged 15.4 points, 6.7 rebounds, and 5.9 assists per game for the Hornets this season.

Batum already missed Monday’s game against the Chicago Bulls. It’s not clear what’s causing these migraines and as a result it’s not clear how long he’ll be out, either. He’s absolutely crucial to the Hornets making a playoffs push, though, so let’s hope he’s healthy sooner than later.
Batum joins Miles Plumlee, Ramon Sessions, and Johnny O’Bryant on the injured list.
Jeremy Lamb started in Batum’s place against the Bulls and put in a stellar game, scoring 26 points on 10-of-17 shooting and nabbing two steals in 31 minutes. Expect him to start again tonight against the Pacers.
Lamb’s seldom shown consistency over his career, though, so don’t bank on Monday’s performance becoming the norm with Batum out.
The sooner Batum’s back, the better. Fais-le bien bientôt, mon amour.
