Charlotte Hornets vs Atlanta Hawks GameThread

The Hornets welcome the Hawks to the Spectrum Center tonight for a basketball game. I like basketball. Hop on down to the comments to chat about tonight's game!

Heh. The Charlotte Hornets are suspended in air, momentarily steady, knowing that at any moment, the playoffs will be taken from them and they'll come crashing down to earth. But there's a chance -- it's small, but it's there -- that they string together a couple of good win streaks and creep into the playoffs. And that is the option they're trying to go with.

But to do that, they'll need to beat the Atlanta Hawks. No excuses.

Here's what you need to know to tune in:

When: March 20, 2017 at 7 p.m.

The usual bunch of Ramon Sessions, Miles Plumlee, and Johnny O'Bryant are out for the Hornets tonight. For the Hawks, Kent Bazemore, Paul Millsap, and Mike Dunleavy are out.
