Video: Steve Bob’s Fundamentals of the Draft Guide

I have good news about Frank Ntilikina, Hornets fans.

A couple of months back, I formally announced my candidacy to replace Patrick Ewing in the position of Associate Head Coach on the Charlotte Hornet’s staff.

While I understand the vetting process that goes into hiring a candidate of my almost entirely non-existent pedigree is an arduous and meticulously thorough affair, I simply do not have time to sit around on my butt looking at my thumbs, as the old saying goes. The game of basketball goes on.

Buckets never stop.

That is why it is with a heavy heart that I have to tell you all I will be leaving my position of Possible Candidate for Associate Head Coach of the Charlotte Hornets effective immediately, and taking my talents to the bleachers. It’s time to start a new chapter, and to that end I am excited to announce that I have accepted a job as Freelance Junior Executive of Scouting for whatever team wants to hire me.

It’s me, Steve Bob!

I want to be a professional NBA Scout so bad, and believe me when I say, “I know I can do it.” If an NBA team were to hire me as a scout, I am confident that I would be a professional scout. If you have any connections with any NBA teams, please, at the very least, get them to hire me. You know I would probably do the same for you.

In the meantime, I am releasing a series of self-produced scouting videos leading up the NBA Draft on Thursday, June 22nd.

Please enjoy the first installment of the series, my in-depth breakdown of the top international prospect in this years class, French point guard Frank Ntilikina!
