The Charlotte Hornets play the Oklahoma City Thunder this afternoon just 22 hours after beating the Utah Jazz. I'm not a big fan of back-to-backs and I'm especially disdainful of games fewer than 24 hours apart, but we can't control what the league does so we might as well just roll with whatever comes.
The Hornets are playing well these days. All things considered they should put in a good fight against the Thunder tonight.
As usual, you can watch tonight's game live on Fox Sports Southeast or League Pass and listen live with WFNZ 610 AM or WFNZ 102.5 FM.
Here are this evening's projected starters:
Hornets | Position | Thunder |
Kemba Walker | PG | Russell Westbrook |
Nicolas Batum | SG | Alex Abrines |
Michael Kidd-Gilchrist | SF | Paul George |
Marvin Williams | PF | Carmelo Anthony |
Dwight Howard | C | Steven Adams |
Head coach Steve Clifford is back to coach his second game in a row. Cody Zeller is still out. For the Thunder, only Andre Roberson is out.
Tip-off's at 5 p.m. EST.
