The Charlotte Hornets play the Los Angeles Lakers tonight in the last game of their brief road trip. They whooped the Sacramento Kings on Tuesday and thankfully the Lakers aren't any better than the Kings are this season. If the last few games are the new norm, the Hornets should have no trouble putting the Lakers away.
We'll see what happens.
As usual, you can watch tonight's game live on Fox Sports Southeast or League Pass and listen live with WFNZ 610 AM or WFNZ 102.5 FM.
Here are this evening's projected starters:
Hornets | Position | Lakers |
Kemba Walker | PG | Lonzo Ball |
Nicolas Batum | SG | Kentavious Caldwell-Pope |
Michael Kidd-Gilchrist | SF | Brandon Ingram |
Marvin Williams | PF | Larry Nance Jr. |
Dwight Howard | C | Brook Lopez |
No word on Cody Zeller's recovery yet. Needless to say, he's out for the Hornets tonight. Lonzo Ball is listed as probable for the Lakers tonight, so it sounds like each and every Laker is available to play.
It's a late one. Tonight's game starts at 10:30 p.m., well past some of our bedtimes.
