Charlotte Hornets at Orlando Magic GameThread

The Hornets hope to head into the All-Star Break with one last game against a not-so-great Magic squad. A win tonight would go a long way. Chat with other Hornets fans in the comments below!

The Charlotte Hornets have one last game before they head into the All-Star break, and that game is against the Orlando Magic. The Magic are awful by design, so I can't imagine the Hornets will have much trouble pulling out a win tonight.

That said, Hornets head coach Steve Clifford said in a radio interview recently that the next 10 games or so will dictate how the team closes out the season--do they chase a playoff spot, or do they accept their failure and tank?

Anyway, I hope your date likes basketball as much as you do. There's no better way to spend Valentine's Day than watching the Hornets.

As usual, you can watch tonight's game live on Fox Sports Southeast or League Pass and listen live with WFNZ 610 AM or WFNZ 102.5 FM.

Here are today's projected starters:

Hornets Position Magic
Kemba Walker PG D.J. Augustin
Nicolas Batum SG Jonathon Simmons
Michael Kidd-Gilchrist SF Evan Fournier
Marvin Williams PF Khem Birch
Dwight Howard C Bismack Biyombo

Heh. Two former Hornets in the Magic's starting lineup. With regard to injuries, each and every Hornet is available to play tonight, including the newly acquired Willy Hernangomez. The Magic, however, are without a plethora of players: Terrence Ross, Aaron Gordon, Jonathan Isaac, and Nikola Vucevic are all out.

Tip-off's at 7 p.m. EST.
