Can we keep this momentum going?
The Charlotte Hornets take on the Washington Wizards tonight on the second night of a back-to-back after routing the Brooklyn Nets last night. They snuck past the Orlando Magic before the All-Star break, so a win tonight would give them their first three-game winning streak since late January.
And lucky for the Hornets, the main cog that drives the Wizards is still out.
As usual, you can watch tonight's game live on Fox Sports Southeast or League Pass and listen live with WFNZ 610 AM or WFNZ 102.5 FM.
Here are today's projected starters:
Hornets | Position | Wizards |
Kemba Walker | PG | Tomas Satoransky |
Nicolas Batum | SG | Bradley Beal |
Michael Kidd-Gilchrist | SF | Otto Porter |
Marvin Williams | PF | Markieff Morris |
Dwight Howard | C | Marcin Gortat |
No Hornet is out tonight--the squad is healthy. For the Wizards, John Wall has begun walking without crutches but is still a ways away from returning to the court. Make no mistake, though, the Wizards are still an excellent team--their record of 7-2 without him is a testament to that. And this game's on their turf.
This one won't come easy.
Tip-off's at 7 p.m. EST.
