I have no clue how this Charlotte Hornets team--yes, the same one that won just nine of their 29 games in November and December--are in the midst of a five-game winning streak. This is unfamiliar territory to say the least.
Tonight, the Hornets take on one of the best teams in the Eastern Conference, the Boston Celtics. Both teams are mostly healthy so this should be an exciting game.
As usual, you can watch tonight's game live on Fox Sports Southeast or League Pass and listen live with WFNZ 610 AM or WFNZ 102.5 FM.
Here are today's projected starters:
Hornets | Position | Celtics |
Kemba Walker | PG | Kyrie Irving |
Nicolas Batum | SG | Jaylen Brown |
Jeremy Lamb | SF | Jayson Tatum |
Marvin Williams | PF | Marcus Morris |
Dwight Howard | C | Al Horford |
So, some bad news. Cody Zeller and Michael Kidd-Gilchrist are out against the Celtics. Dwight Howard's hurt too, but he will suit up. For the Celtics, Gordon Hayward and Daniel Theis are out.
Tip-off's at 7:30 p.m. EST.
