Charlotte Hornets at Portland Trail Blazers GameThread

While the trade deadline dominated the NBA blogosphere today, the Hornets have a game in the wee hours of the night against the Blazers. Come chat with other Hornets fans about tonight's game!

Jeremy Brevard-USA TODAY Sports

The Charlotte Hornets didn't do much before the trade deadline today. In fact, their only move was yesterday's pickup of Willy Hernangomez. Today, the only mention of the team came from a report the Hornets repeatedly declined the Cleveland Cavaliers on offers for Kemba Walker.

Speaking of which, Kemba was named an All-Star today in light of Kristaps Porzingis' injury.

With all of that behind us, however, the Hornets play a game tonight. The Portland Trail Blazers are a fairly good team spearheaded by a backcourt duo of Damian Lillard and C.J. McCollum. The Hornets have one more road game before heading home to play the Raptors, so a win tonight would be nice as their schedule begins to toughen up.

As usual, you can watch tonight's game live on Fox Sports Southeast or League Pass and listen live with WFNZ 610 AM or WFNZ 102.5 FM.

Here are today's projected starters:

Hornets Position Trail Blazers
Kemba Walker PG Damian Lillard
Nicolas Batum SG C.J. McCollum
Michael Kidd-Gilchrist SF Evan Turner
Marvin Williams PF Al-Farouq Aminu
Dwight Howard C Jusuf Nurkic

Good news, friends. The Hornets are healthy! No injuries to report with Marvin back in the starting lineup. For the Blazers, C.J. Wilcox is out.

Tip-off's at 10 p.m. EST.
