Hello, friends!
The Charlotte Hornets continue their road trip against the Brooklyn Nets tonight, and this presents a problem—the Nets are awful.
We’re at a point where it’s fairly explicit the Hornets are tanking the remainder of their season so the fact that the Nets are worse both in the standings and on paper does not look good(?) for Charlotte.
Then again, a win for dignity every once in a while might not be so bad.
As usual, you can watch tonight’s game live on Fox Sports Southeast or NBA League Pass and listen live with WFNZ 610 AM or WFNZ 102.5 FM.
Lineups
Here are tonight’s projected starters:
Untitled
Hornets | Position | Nets |
---|---|---|
Hornets | Position | Nets |
Kemba Walker | PG | Spencer Dinwiddie |
Jeremy Lamb | SG | Allen Crabbe |
Michael Kidd-Gilchrist | SF | DeMarre Carroll |
Marvin Williams | PF | Rondae Hollis-Jefferson |
Dwight Howard | C | Jarrett Allen |
It’s possible news has dropped about Nicolas Batum but I haven’t heard it so the assumption here is that Jeremy Lamb will once again start in his place. Cody Zeller and Michael Carter-Williams are also out. For the Nets, only Jeremy Lin is unavailable.
Miss that dude.
Former Hornet Dante Cunningham is returning from a brief absence tonight. If memory serves me correctly he was on fire the last time the Hornets played the Nets.
Tip-off’s at 7:30 p.m. EST.
