NBA: Charlotte Hornets at Memphis Grizzlies Justin Ford-USA TODAY Sports

Who’s ready for some heavy Willy Hernangomez on Deyonta Davis? Woo-wee, do we have an odd game tonight.

The Charlotte Hornets are finally back home after a five-game road trip but returned in shoddy shape for games ahead. They’re missing several key players, giving us a weird starting lineup tonight against an equally weird starting lineup from the Memphis Grizzlies.

This is one for basketball nerds.

As usual, you can watch tonight’s game live on Fox Sports Southeast or NBA League Pass and listen live with WFNZ 610 AM or WFNZ 102.5 FM.

Lineups

Here are tonight’s projected starters:

Hornets Position Grizzlies
Hornets Position Grizzlies
Kemba Walker PG Briante Weber
Jeremy Lamb SG Wayne Selden
Michael Kidd-Gilchrist SF Dillon Brooks
Marvin Williams PF JaMychal Green
Frank Kaminsky C Deyonta Davis

Dwight Howard is serving a one-game suspension for picking up his 16th technical foul of the year, thrusting Frank Kaminsky or Willy Hernangomez into the starting lineup thanks to Cody Zeller’s lengthy absence. Nicolas Batum and Michael Carter-Williams are out as well.

For the Grizzlies, Mike Conley, Marc Gasol, Chandler Parsons, Andrew Harrison, Tyreke Evans, and Ivan Rabb are out.

This is going to be so, so weird.

Tip-off’s at 7:00 p.m. EST.
