Charlotte Hornets vs. Cleveland Cavaliers GameThread

The Hornets defend homecourt against the Cavs tonight in a game not worth much to the Hornets but of much importance to the Cavs. Expect the boys in teal and purple to play hard, though. Chat with other Hornets fans in the comments below!

Ken Blaze-USA TODAY Sports

Y'all, the Charlotte Hornets play the Cleveland Cavaliers tonight.

Earlier in the season I'd have touted this as a must-watch game of the utmost importance but at this point in the season a win won't do any good for the Hornets aside from keeping the players and coaching staff positive.

I mean, expect the Hornets to play with the intent of winning but temper your expectations accordingly.

As usual, you can watch tonight's game live on Fox Sports Southeast or League Pass and listen live with WFNZ 610 AM or WFNZ 102.5 FM.

Here are today's projected starters:

Hornets Position Cavs
Kemba Walker PG George Hill
Nicolas Batum SG Rodney Hood
Michael Kidd-Gilchrist SF LeBron James
Marvin Williams PF Jeff Green
Dwight Howard C Tristan Thompson

MKG came down with a case of food poisoning but is expected to be available tonight. Batum rejoins the team but is on a minutes restriction. The usual group of Michael Carter-Williams and Cody Zeller are out. For the Cavs, Kevin Love, Kyle Korver, and Cedi Osman are out.

Tip-off's at 7:00 p.m. EST.

Hop on down to the comments to chat about tonight's game!
