Charlotte Hornets vs. Indiana Pacers GameThread

New, comments

This game means a lot to the Pacers. It doesn't mean much to the Hornets. Still, we've got our last home game on a Sunday. Chat with other Hornets fans in the comments below!

Two games left, wow.

The Charlotte Hornets take on the Indiana Pacers this afternoon in their last home game of the season. The Hornets travel up to Indiana on Tuesday to close their season out against the Pacers, too. Heh.

This game means little for the Hornets, who are decidedly out of the playoff picture and need a bit of luck to sneak past the Los Angeles Lakers in the lottery. As things stand the Lakers have three games left and one fewer win than the Hornets.

The Pacers, on the other hand, could still get homecourt advantage in the playoffs. They're two games back on the Cleveland Cavaliers and even have the tie-breaker over them. If the Pacers can beat the Hornets twice and the Cavs fail to win either of their remaining games, the Cavs won't have homecourt in the playoffs.

Interesting.

As usual, you can watch tonight's game live on Fox Sports Southeast or League Pass and listen live with WFNZ 610 AM or WFNZ 102.5 FM.

Here are today's projected starters:

Hornets Position Pacers
Kemba Walker PG Darren Collison
Nicolas Batum SG Victor Oladipo
Michael Kidd-Gilchrist SF Bojan Bogdanovic
Marvin Williams PF Thaddeus Young
Dwight Howard C Myles Turner

Treveon Graham and Dwayne Bacon will join Cody Zeller and Michael Carter-Williams on the bench once again. Everyone's healthy for the Pacers.

Tip-off's at 1:00 p.m. EST.
