Two games left, wow.
The Charlotte Hornets take on the Indiana Pacers this afternoon in their last home game of the season. The Hornets travel up to Indiana on Tuesday to close their season out against the Pacers, too. Heh.
This game means little for the Hornets, who are decidedly out of the playoff picture and need a bit of luck to sneak past the Los Angeles Lakers in the lottery. As things stand the Lakers have three games left and one fewer win than the Hornets.
The Pacers, on the other hand, could still get homecourt advantage in the playoffs. They're two games back on the Cleveland Cavaliers and even have the tie-breaker over them. If the Pacers can beat the Hornets twice and the Cavs fail to win either of their remaining games, the Cavs won't have homecourt in the playoffs.
Interesting.
