This is the final game of the road trip. That’s good for a number of reasons. One, maybe the Hornets will stop losing games. Two, we’ll stop mentioning the road trip in every article we post. Three, the games will both start and end at a reasonable hour. And so on.
This will be fun. All the Spurs and their fans will probably celebrate the career of Tony Parker. Tony Parker will try to respond by ruining their night and beating their favorite team. James Borrego will try to defeat his former boss.
The Hornets will try to win in San Antonio for the first time since Adam Morrison scored 27 points in an overtime victory over the Spurs in 2006.
Also, did you know the Spurs were originally known as the Dallas Chaparrals? Do you know what a Chaparral is? It’s a type of landscape. Who names their team after a landscape? It’s like naming a team the Charlotte Piedmonts.
