The Charlotte Hornets have officially unveiled new City uniforms that will be worn in 15 games between now and the end of the season. If you follow Miles Bridges on Instagram, you got a sneak peek of these a day early when he posted a video of PJ Washington, Devonte’ Graham, and himself doing a photo shoot in the new duds.
The uniforms share the bold CHA lettering with the purple Statement jerseys that were unveiled just before the start of the season. The main difference between the design is on the sides. The stinger-like stripes on the Statement jersey have been replaced by a honeycomb cell pattern on the City jerseys. The City jerseys also have bright striping around the collar and shoulders.
The Hornets will debut this uniform on Friday, December 6th (two weeks from today) in a home game against the Brooklyn Nets. They’ll be worn roughly once per week after that.
