Zach and I start our conversation during the halftime break of the game between the Charlotte Hornets and the Miami Heat. We go through last week’s slate of games, talking about what we liked and didn’t like, and what it means going forward. That transitions into a look ahead at this week’s games against teams that are mostly better than the Hornets. We talk about a realistic goal for the week and what we expect to see from each game.
Much of this takes place during the Hornets Sunday afternoon affair with the Heat, which I contend was an embarrassment to the game of basketball. You can hear some of our reactions to things happening in the game as they happen. Like when Michael Kidd-Gilchrist hit the side of the backboard on a short jumper. These things happen.
