The Hornets select Bol Bol in the At the Hive community mock draft

The people have spoken. Bol Bol is now a Hornet in this fake draft.

With the twelfth overall pick in the 2019 NBA At the Hive community mock draft, the Charlotte Hornets select Bol Bol, center, Oregon.

The people have spoken, and they said they want the Hornets to select Bol Bol in next week’s draft. He received 23% of the 277 votes cast. The next top vote-getters were Rui Hachimura (17%), Nassir Little (13%), Brandon Clarke (12%), and Kevin Porter Jr. (10%).

Bol is high risk, high reward prospect, and many Hornets fans want the team to take that sort of home run swing in the draft. His skill set is tantalizing. He has terrific shooting touch and can handle and pass the ball extremely well for a player his size. He has the height and reach to be a tremendous rim protector on the defensive end.

There are concerns about his foot injury and whether his super narrow frame can hold up in the NBA, but it’s easy to see why Hornets fans would be excited by his potential.
