The Hornets will host their fifteenth pre-draft workout on Thursday

It’s a group highlighted by big men.

The Charlotte Hornets are hosting their fifteenth workout on Thursday in preparation for next week’s draft.

The participants:

  • Marques Bolden, Center, Duke
  • Tacko Fall, Center, UCF
  • Jaylen Hoard, Forward, Wake Forest
  • Jalen Hudson, Guard, Florida
  • Luka Asceric, Guard, Mega Bemax (Serbia)
  • Aubrey Dawkins, Guard, UCF

The main story in this group is Tacko Fall, who’s the largest NBA prospect in recent memory. He’s projected as a mid-second round pick right now and I’m sure fans of most teams want to draft him because of that. He’s joined by his teammate Aubrey Dawkins, which I’m sure is fun.

A couple of local kids will be in Charlotte as well. Jaylen Hoard and Marques Bolden are both ACC products with Hoard being the more draftable of the two.

The Hornets will also get a look at one of two Lukas in this class. I didn’t know Luka was such a common name.

With the last minute addition of Tremont Waters to the last workout, the Hornets have now brought in 93 prospects. Will they make it to 100?
