The roster:
- Francis Alonso, Guard
- Dwayne Bacon, Forward
- Miles Bridges, Forward
- Joe Chealey, Guard
- Torin Dorn, Guard
- Robert Franks, Forward
- Devonte’ Graham, Guard
- Isaiah Hicks, Center
- Arnoldas Kulboka, Forward
- JP Macura, Guard
- Greg Malinowski, Guard
- Cody Martin, Guard
- Jalen McDaniels, Forward
- Kennedy Meeks, Center
- Josh Perkins, Guard
- Kerwin Roach, Guard
- Elijah Thomas, Center
- PJ Washington, Forward
There is a lot of local flavor on the roster. Kennedy Meeks and Isaiah Hicks are known for their time spent in Chapel Hill with UNC. Francis Alonso (UNC Greensboro), Torin Dorn (NC State), and Elijah Thomas (Clemson) are all rookies out of schools in the Carolinas.
It’s a good looking Summer League roster. It’ll be interesting to see how the staff divvies up the minutes, because there are a lot of players that could have NBA potential.
The group will be coached by 29-year-old assistant coach Ronald Nored.
The Hornets will kick off their slate of Summer League games against the Golden State Warriors on Friday, July 5. You can find the Hornets full schedule here and the full Summer League schedule here.
