Hornets host six more prospects in tenth pre-draft workout

The Hornets brought in another batch of six prospects for workouts on Tuesday.

The Charlotte Hornets hosted their tenth workout on Monday as they prepare for the draft in a couple weeks. As has often been the case, most of these are second round/undrafted free agent targets.

The players:

  • Daniel Gafford, Center, Arkansas
  • Miye Oni, Guard, Yale
  • Ky Bowman, Guard, Boston College
  • Amir Coffey, Guard, Minnesota
  • Cody Martin, Forward, Nevada
  • Chris Silva, Forward, South Carolina

Gafford is the highest profile name in the bunch, frequently mocked around the Hornets pick at 36th overall. The rest are less heralded prospects.

Cody Martin’s workout in Charlotte means the Hornets have worked out both of the Martin twins. That’s not important, but I thought it was cool and I have to fill space.

Here’s the updated table with all 62 players that have been in for official workouts. Marques Bolden, Tacko Fall, and Keldon Johnson have all said that they have workouts scheduled with the Hornets. They’ll be added to the list once their visit to Charlotte is official.
