The (pretty much) full list of NBA 2K20 player ratings is out, and the Charlotte Hornets didn’t come out looking pretty. Here’s the Hornets roster as it stands right now:
- Terry Rozier, 78
- Nicolas Batum, 77
- Cody Zeller, 77
- Miles Bridges, 76
- Willy Hernangomez, 76
- Michael Kidd-Gilchrist, 76
- Marvin Williams, 76
- Malik Monk, 75
- Bismack Biyombo, 75
- Dwayne Bacon, 73
- PJ Washington, 72
- Devonte’ Graham, 69
Rookies Cody Martin and Jalen McDaniels don’t have ratings yet.
In case you were curious, here are the ratings for the Hornets most recent departures:
- Kemba Walker, 88
- Jeremy Lamb, 79
- Frank Kaminsky, 76
The average rating for the roster is 75.0, which actually isn’t the worst in the game. The Memphis Grizzlies (74.93) and the Washington Wizards (74.38) are worse.
That said, the Hornets are lacking star power more than any other team. Their best player is Terry Rozier, whose overall rating of 78 is the lowest of any player that’s the best on their team. The next lowest is Jaren Jackson Jr., whose 82 overall rating is the best on the Grizzlies.
The young players like Bridges, Bacon, Graham, and Monk are expected to get a lot of run this season, so there will be ample opportunities for them to get their ratings up during the season. Who knows, maybe by the end of the season will have an 80 overall player on the roster.
