The Charlotte Hornets unveiled new uniforms for the 2019-20 season via the Hornets app.

You can go here to see the full release from Hornets.com.

These purple jerseys will be the Hornets Statement jerseys this season, replacing the standard purple ones the team has been wearing since rebranding to the Hornets back in 2014. The Hornets word mark has been replaced ‘CHA’ in large, bold letters. The asymmetrical piping has been replaced by stinger-like stripes on both sides of the shorts and jerseys.

These uniforms will be one of two sets of purple jerseys the Hornets will sport this season, the other being the classic purple uniforms the team unveiled over the summer.

The uniforms will be debuted at today’s media day festivities. They’ll make their first on court appearance in the Hornets season opener against the Chicago Bulls on October 23rd.
