Remember when the Timberwolves trounced the Hornets in the season’s opening week and looked a sure bet to be a playoff team? Then they went 5-24 from December 1 until the trade deadline. Then they smacked the Clippers with Karl-Anthony Towns and a bunch of no names. Who knows what’ll happen tonight.

Savor this game because it’s the last Hornets basketball you’ll get for the next eight days.
