The jerseys are reminiscent of the team’s original uniforms.

The Charlotte Hornets have unveiled two new uniforms for the 2021 season, and they have pinstripes.

Here’s a coll video about them:

You can go to the uniform’s website to see more images and read details about the meaning of everything (on the jerseys).

The jerseys bring back the double pinstripes from the team’s first several seasons of the league, except they got rid of the random ugly colors and replaced them with more sensible colors—teal on the white jersey and white on the teal jersey. Obviously the new typeface is used for the numbers and letters instead of the old 90s-era stuff from back in the day.

Personally, I approve. I’d prefer that the pinstripes continue from the shirt to the pants, but that’s a quibble I can easily get over.

Apparently there’s more to come, as there’s a countdown on the jersey site that ends at 4:00. No idea what that’s about.
