From the release:
The Charlotte Hornets announced that guard LaMelo Ball underwent further evaluation on his right wrist today by Dr. Michelle Carlson of The Hospital for Special Surgery in New York City. Ball’s cast was removed and a CT scan confirmed the wrist has healed. He has been cleared to return to individual basketball activity. Additional updates on Ball’s status and return to game action will be provided as appropriate.
Ball was the clear frontrunner for Rookie of the Year before his injury, and he probably would still win the award if the season ended today. Hopefully his rehab will progress quickly and he’ll rejoin the lineup in time to win the award and guide the team above the play-in game cutoff.
Adrian Wojnarowski is reporting that Ball could return to the lineup in as few as seven to ten days.
