We’re still in the middle of Summer League, but the Charlotte Hornets have already released their preseason schedule in preparation for the 2021-2022 season.
Preseason basketball is comin' up QUICK! Which matchup are you most hyped about?https://t.co/jw6v3LRo76 | @BallySportsSO | @wfnz pic.twitter.com/8npGMQ69E1

If you can’t see Twitter, here’s the schedule:
- October 4th, 8:00pm, at Oklahoma City Thunder
- October 7th, 7:00pm, vs Memphis Grizzlies
- October 11th, 7:30pm, at Miami Heat
- October 13th, 7:00pm, vs Dallas Mavericks
There’s not really a whole lot to say about the preseason. We’ll get a small taste of veteran LaMelo Ball and new additions like Kelly Oubre and the draft picks, but it won’t quite be at full speed or with the same level or preparation as the regular season. But it’s Hornets basketball. We want to watch the young guys improve and see what we’ve got in the offseason additions. It’ll be fun.
Of note, each of the last three games will be televised on Bally Sports Southeast. It’s a welcome change from a few years ago when we would maybe get one televised preseason game. Don’t know what to tell you about that first game against the Thunder though.
