Preview: Hornets take on Raptors in their penultimate summer league contest

The Hornets will again try for their first summer league win, this time against the team that shook up the 2021 NBA Draft.

The Hornets take on a Raptors squad that has been pretty tough through three games. They have a few noteworthy names on the squad. Scottie Barnes, their surprising selection with the fourth overall pick in the 2021 NBA Draft, has averaged 13.0 points, 7.3 rebounds, 3.0 assists, and 2.0 blocks per game, though he has struggled to score the ball efficiently. Second year pros Malachi Flynn and Precious Achiuwa have been the team’s two best players, averaging 17.3 and 16.0 points per game respectively.

  • Which of Vernon Carey and Nick Richards will take minutes at the five and how will they handle those minutes
  • Can Scottie Lewis make some offensive contributions
